Sensitive skin washing tips

  • Wash new clothes before you wear them to remove any chemical residue from the manufacturer
  • Avoid dry cleaning or if you must get an item dry cleaned, see if there is a 'green' dry cleaner near you
  • Once you've collected dry cleaning, remove from the plastic as soon as possible and hang up to let chemical residues evaporate before wearning
  • Avoid conventional fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Experts say these are often the worst offenders for sensitive skin sufferers.
