If you love the Aldi Christmas adverts, you’re no doubt a fan of Kevin – the carrot who has stolen the nation’s hearts!
Kevin popped up in last year’s adverts, on the hunt for Father Christmas, and saw she supermarket’s sales shoot up by a whopping 15 per cent!
There then followed a second advert, this November, trying to win the heart of Katie the carrot. The advert had a bit of an Agatha Christie twist, with a murdered gingerbread man on a train, narrated by the oh-so-talented Jim Broadbent.
And now there’s set to be a third – featuring Kevin, Katie and a krop – sorry, crop – of baby carrots! The little cuties are called Chantenay, Jasper and Baby Carrot.
Last year shoppers were desperate to get their hands on a cuddly Kevin and this Christmas is set to be no different. You can buy your own cuddly Kevin, Katie and set of three babies for £2.99 each, with proceeds from the babies supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The final advert, featuring the baby carrots, will air on Friday 8 December at 8.45pm on ITV.
- The plush Carrot Kids, Katie and Kevin will all be available to buy online and in stores from December the 14 – but hurry because they’re sure to be sell-outs!
