Celebrity Gogglebox cast: Meet all the famous faces watching TV

We're delighted that Celebrity Gogglebox is coming back to our screens very soon! If you're just as excited as us about the latest season of the show, you may have found yourself wondering who this year's Celebrity Gogglebox cast members are and what they're famous for.

While we're all used to seeing the regular Gogglebox favourites like friends Jenny and Lee and husband and wife Gogglebox stars Mary and Giles, it's been a real treat to see some famous people watching the telly in the comfort of their own homes.

When is Celebrity Gogglebox on?

Mark your calendars because series 6 of Celebrity Gogglebox begins on Friday 7th June, at the later time of 10.10pm (due to the football taking the usual slot). You can watch the subsequent episodes every Friday at 9pm or you can catch up with the latest series of Celebrity Gogglebox on the Channel 4 website.

Celebrity Gogglebox cast 2024

As well as some regulars you might already be familiar with, there are some new famous faces on their couches this year, all sat with fellow celebs or loved ones.

Jane McDonald and Sue

Singer and Loose Woman Jane McDonald is the first celebrity to confirm that she's going to be on the show. She will be joined by her close pal, Sue Ravey and they'll be tuning in from Jane's cosy Wakefield home.

Stephen Mangan and Anita Mangan

We must say we're huge fans of brother-sister duo Anita and Stephen on Celebrity Gogglebox. They're a very funny pair with a lovely sibling bond, so we're happy that they'll be back for this series!

Stephen is an actor, comedian, writer and presenter who you may recognise from many popular shows including The Split with Nicola Walker, Green Wing and Portrait Artist of the Year. Anita is an illustrator who created the images for her brother's books.

Rylan Clark and Linda Clark

After shooting to fame as a contestant on the X-Factor, Rylan Clark-Neal has carved a successful presenting career for himself. On Gogglebox, he's usually joined by his lovely mum, Linda.

Martin Kemp and Roman Kemp

Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp and his radio DJ son Roman are fan favourites on the show, so it's no surprise that they're back for the latest Celebrity Gogglebox episodes.

Fearne Cotton and Gok Wan

Author, TV and podcast presenter Fearne has appeared many times with her close friend, fashion stylist and DJ Gok Wan. They will be re-joining the couch for this series.

Zoe Ball and Woody Cook

Fans will be delighted to see that the BBC Radio 2 presenter is back on the box with her son, Woody.

Woody was born in Brighton and is a DJ and TV personality, as well as advocate for LGBTQ+ community. He also has another famous parent, Fatboy Slim.

Sue Johnston and Ricky Tomlinson

Did you know that The Royle Family sitcom was the inspiration behind Gogglebox? It was originally narrated by the writers and cast members: the late Caroline Aherne and Craig Cash (who took over in 2013).

Since 2023, Ricky Tomlinson has appeared on episodes of Celebrity Gogglebox, alongside his friend and former castmate Sue Johnston.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash

Husband and wife duo Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon are on Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox this year and have made appearances in the past. The couple tied the knot in 2022 and share three children Rex, Rose and Belle. Stacey also has two sons, Zachary and Leighton from previous relationships and Joe has a son named Harry.

Stacey became famous after appearing as a contestant on The X Factor back in 2009 and has become an influencer on social media, collaborating with well-known brands. She also presents television shows such as Sort Your Life Out and Loose Women.

Joe was an actor, playing Micky Miller on EastEnders. He's now a presenter, working on shows such as I'm A Celebrity... Extra Camp and he has a documentary named Joe Swash: Teens in Care, where he discusses his life as a child of a parent who fosters children.

The pair both won I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here (albeit in different series) and met on the Extra Camp Show (which reviewed the highlights of the programme).

Jennifer Saunders and Beattie Edmondson

Comedy legend Jennifer Saunders will be making an appearance on the show with her daughter Beattie, who's also a comedian, actress and podcaster. The mother-daughter duo previously made an appearance on the SU2C Gogglebox special.

Richie Anderson and Ellie Simmonds

Richie and Ellie struck up a friendship after appearing on the same series of Strictly Come Dancing.

You may recognise Ellie from the Paralympics, where she competed in swimming, or from her recent BAFTA-winning documentary, Ellie Simmonds: Finding My Secret Family. Richie used to play for Coombs Wood in the Sunday League and is now a radio and television personality.

Rob Beckett and Tom Allen

Comedians and best pals Rob Beckett and Tom Allen are back on Celebrity Gogglebox for 2024. The pair both grew up in Bromley and attended the same school, although they were in different year groups, so didn't become friends until they were adults.

Tom Allen has made a name for himself as a presenter, having hosted Bake Off: The Professionals, The Apprentice: You're Fired and Cooking with the Stars. He's also a keen gardener and has opened up on BBC Two's coverage of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show about how gardening has helped him to cope with the loss of his father. "He died about two and a half years ago. If you lose somebody close to you, it's difficult to process sometimes and I thought actually, spending time in the garden just gave me space to remember him in a way that was active.

"I've been embracing failure. I've been enjoying putting it on my social media and I like to play a game of 'dead or not'. It looks like it's mainly a stick but maybe it'll come back to life. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't matter if it works out or it doesn't. If you have a go with gardening, that's the joy of it and a lot of the time it's the way it makes you feel.", he said.

Rob Beckett has hosted the BAFTAs with one of his other comedy best friends, Romesh Ranganathan an they have their own show Rob & Romesh Vs..., in which they try different activities. He appears on panel shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, QI, Would I Lie To You and is even a successful podcaster, co-hosting a show called Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe's Parenting Hell.

Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin

Presenter and stepdad Chris Packham has a lovely bond with his stepdaughter and conservationist, Megan McCubbin. They are back for Celeb Gogglebox 2024.

Gyles Brandreth and Lulu

Former MP Gyles Brandreth has been on Celebrity Gogglebox for many series, sitting alongside his pals Joanna Lumley, Susie Dent and more recently, singer Lulu.

Former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is joined on the couch with his ex-Love Islander daughter, Dani Dyer, who is now a mum to a little boy and twin girls.

If you'd like to see more of Danny Dyer, he has joined the cast of Jilly Cooper's Rivals, based on the book of the same name, which is coming to Disney+ soon.

Clare Balding and Alice Arnold

Clare Balding is going back on the show with her wife Alice Arnold. Both of them are broadcasters and journalists and they've been on Gogglebox before.

Comedy fans and eagle-eyed viewers may recognise Alice from her appearance as Aunt Lizzy on Peep Show, or as a continuity announcer on BBC Radio 4.

Chef Andi Oliver is joined by her TV presenter daughter, Miquita. You may have seen Andi on the Great British Menu or remember Miquita from her time on T4, or her recent podcast with her best pal, Lily Allen.

Dancers Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely are watching telly together on Celebrity Gogglebox 2024. The Diversity dancers previously appeared on the show alongside Jordan's brother and fellow crew member Ashley Banjo.

Chris McCausland and Donna Preston

Comedians Chris McCausland and Donna Preston are making an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox 2024. Chris is a regular on the comedy circuit. He has a genetic condition called retinitis pigmentosa, which caused him to gradually lose his sight. Donna does acting and writing and has appeared in Neil Gaiman's Good Omens and The Sandman.

Shaun Ryder and Bez

Happy Mondays stars and close friends, Shaun Ryder and Bez have been regulars on Celebrity Gogglebox for some time now, so they'll be returning to their chairs very soon.

Lauren Steadman and Kadeena Cox

Paralympians and pals Lauren Steadman and Kadeena Cox are also on the show. Steadman has competed in both the swimming and para triathlon and Cox competes in sprinting and cyling.

Fellow comedians, Mo Gilligan and Babatunde who you might remember from I'm a Celebrity are Celeb Gogglebox regulars. The cheeky duo are back for the newest set of episodes.

As a stand-up comedian, Mo has been on several tours. He's also the host of his own chat show on Channel 4. Babatunde is set to appear on the next series of Taskmaster alongside Jack Dee.

Ex-Manchester United footballer, Rio, is joined by his wife Kate, a former The Only Way is Essex cast member.

The pair tied the knot in 2019 and have two children together. Kate is Rio's second wife and a step-mum to his three children, following the very sad death of his first wife, Rebecca. She documents her journey on her podcast Blended.
