Can a sandwich make you younger?

Can a sandwich make you younger?

With all the creams, lotions and potions on the market that claim to make you look youthful and beautiful, it can be hard to know which creams actually do their job. However, have you ever heard of an anti-ageing sandwich?

Suitably named, Roll Back the Clock is an anti-ageing wrap and is packed full of ingredients that are thought to improve the appearance of skin and hair to make you look younger. Served at The Sandwich Spa in London, you’ll also be treated to a luxury revitalising facial to go alongside your sandwich!

If a trip to the London spa isn’t possible, you can make this sandwich at home with the following healthy ingredients. Start with a multigrain wrap rather than sliced bread. The BFree wrap contains both buckwheat and amaranth which support cell repair whilst combatting wrinkles.

Your wrap will be filled with tasty sweet potato which is full of Beta Carotene which is beneficial for cells. Romanie lettuce which contains vitamin A promotes the growth of new skin cells, helping the appearance of skin. The yellow peppers in the wrap are rich in vitamin C and help the body produce collagen which keeps the skin firm and full of elasticity. Sundried tomatoes also help to prevent the breakdown of collagen thanks to the lycopene which strengthens the skin.

As well as all of that, another main ingredient is spinach. Bursting with antioxidants known as phytonutrients, spinach helps to slow down the ageing process whilst also protecting from sun damage. Spinach is also very high in potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium which contribute to healthy hair. The wrap also contains black olives, red onion, sesame seeds and olive oil for added flavor and goodness.
