Following the 2021 Oscars award ceremony, you might be wondering where you can watch the nominated and winning films from this year's awards. We've put together this handy list to help you watch all the best films from the past year.

Nomadland

Winner of Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress, Nomadland was the one to watch in this year's ceremony. Nomadland will premier on Disney+ from April 30, 2021 and will later appear in cinemas once they reopen which should hopefully be towards the end of May. The Father

Anthony Hopkins portrayal of a man suffering from dementia won him the Best Actor award at this year's Oscars. It will hopefully be out in UK cinemas on May 11, 2021.

Promising Young Woman

Emerald Fennelwon the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for this dark comedy. You can watch it on Sky Cinema and also on NOW TV for £9.99 per month.

Another Round

Starring Mads Mikkelsen, this film won the Oscar for Best Film in a Foreign Language and will be out in UK cinemas June 25, 2021.

Judas and The Black Messiah

The very talented Daniel Kaluuya won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Black Panther leader Fred Hampton in this Oscar nominated film. You can watch it on BFI Player, Sky Store, Amazon Prime, Google Play and BT TV.

Sound of Metal

Riz Ahmed was nominated as Best Actor in the awards for his role as hard-rock drummer and recovering addict who loses his hearing. You can watch it now on Amazon Prime and in cinemas when they open.

Soul

Pixar's latest movie won Best Animated Film and Best Original Score in a touching tale about a about a jazz musician. It's available to watch on Disney+.

Mank

This black and white film won the Oscar for Best Cinematography this year and is about the writer of Citizen Kane, Herman J Mankiewicz. You can stream it now on Netflix.

Minari

This Oscar nominated film follows the story of a South Korean family pursuing the American dream. It's currently available to rent on Amazon Prime.

The Trial of the Chicago 7

With a star-studded cast, this is the story of the anti-Vietnam War protestors who were prosecuted following the riots at the National Democratic Convention in 1968. It is currently available to watch on Netflix.

One Night in Miami

This film follows the fictional meeting between Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown and Sam Cooke, with Leslie Odom Jr being nominated for Best Supporting Actor. It's now available to watch on Amazon Prime.

The White Tiger

This film was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay and is based on Aaravind Adiga’s Booker Prize-winning novel - which highlights inequality and corruption. You can watch it now on Netflix.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

This film is adapted from the stage play and is about blues singer Ma Rainey. It also stars the late Chadwick Boseman who was nominated as Best Actor for his role. You can now watch it on Netflix.

The United States vs Billie Holiday

Starring Andra Day as the legendary Billie Holiday, it follows the story of how Holiday was targeted by the government, who prevented her from performing the civil rights anthem, Strange Fruit. It's available to watch on Sky Cinema.

Pieces of a Woman

The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby earned herself a nomination for her extraordinary lead performance of a birth ending in tragedy. You can watch it now on Netflix.
