Channel 4 brings the fun to Friday nights with their hit show Gogglebox, and the Gogglebox cast certainly provides us viewers with plenty of entertainment as they share their opinions on the latest tv dramas, news reports and reality shows.

Before Gogglebox existed, who would have thought a show about TV would become so popular? Over the last decade (yes, that's right, the show has been going for ten years!), there have been many memorable moments, including a shoe landing into a kebab and an accidental electrocution from a fly swatter.

Some of the previous Gogglebox cast members have even gone on to become big stars like Scarlett Moffatt and the Baggs family and there have even been multiple Celebrity Gogglebox series too.

To bring in the latest series, here’s everything you need to know about the Gogglebox cast and their jobs.

Gogglebox cast UK:

Giles and Mary

Giles Wood and Mary Killen are another of the Gogglebox couples who joined in 2015. They lovingly call each Nutty and have wallpaper that matches their furniture. Fans love Giles' funny stories, although Mary isn't always so keen!

Mary writes an 'agony-aunt' column, whilst Giles has often made comments on the show suggesting that he retired at a young age.

Pete and Sophie

This brother and sister duo are one of the most popular Gogglebox castings of all time, thanks to their typical sibling banter... It's not hard to see why they're so funny, as they're related to none other than comedian Paul Chuckle!

Sophie is a florist and Pete left the insurance industry to work as a building company boss. In 2021 he married his girlfriend Paige Yeomans and they have since welcomed two children, Jimmy and Eva.

Jenny and Lee

Best friends Jenny and Lee joined the show back in 2014 and film the show from Lee's caravan in Hull.

Jenny used to work as a pub landlady, where she met Lee who was a regular and they have subsequently been close pals for over 20 years.

They temporarily left the show back in series 19 (whilst Jenny had surgery for a minor illness), but they have featured in the rest of the series so far.

Having been on the show since series 1, the Siddiqui's are part of the original Gogglebox cast! It consists of brothers Baasit, Umar and their dad Sid, but sometimes their other sibling Baza makes an appearance, but due to working away he isn't able to commit to regular filming.

Computers clearly run in the family as Baasit is a secondary school IT teacher and Umar works as an IT technician. Before retiring, Sid was an engineer and he also worked for the NHS for 37 years.

Ellie and Izzi

The Warner sisters are from Leeds and film the show in Ellie's living room. They have been on the show since 2015. They won the nations' hearts by chatting about family members and general family life.

Ellie, the eldest of the sisters is a hairdresser, whilst Izzi has her own company named Izzi Warner Mortgages. Izzi is in a long-term relationship with her partner Grant and they share two children a son called Bobby and a daughter called Bessie Rose.

Ellie announced that she was pregnant in 2022, not long after taking a break from filming (series 19) as her boyfriend Nat was seriously injured in car accident. They welcomed their baby boy Ezra in 2023.

The Malone family

Back in 2014, the Malone family joined the cast of Gogglebox and soon became a staple part of the show, along with their loveable Rottweilers. Tom is a lorry driver, Julie is a receptionist, and Shaun is a football coach. Tom Jr. is a professional dancer who also does some freelance modelling. He left the show in 2021 to pursue other career options.

Tom and Julie's daughter Vanessa has also made a few appearances on the show.

Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan

This trio of Gogglebox brothers from Bristol brightened up our screens in 2016. With their infectious energy and smiles, they soon became a fan-favourite.

The artistic genes run in the family as Helena is an artist (based at Islington Mill).
