Who are the contestants taking part in Celebrity Masterchef 2023?
There are 20 new famous faces taking part in the competition this year, from reality stars to actors.
Jamelia – R&B and popstar Jamelia is a regular on our screens now she's a TV presenter too.
Sam Fox – Former pop singer and glamour model Sam Fox is now turning her hand to cooking.
Richie Anderson – We were huge fans of TV and radio presenter Richie on Strictly Come Dancing so we can't wait to see him on Masterchef.
Terry Christian – Broadcaster, journalist and author, Terry, will be showing off his culinary skills.
Dianne Buswell – We hope Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne's cooking skills are as good as her dancing skills.
Wynne Evans – While you might not be familiar with his name, this Welsh singer is most famous for singing on the Go Compare advertisements.
Dave Benson Phillips – Dave was a regular on our screens throughout the nineties and early 2000's, particularly on kids TV shows.
Dani Dyer – she's the daughter of actor Danny Dyer and ex-Love Island contestant.
Mica Ven – If you're a fan of Gogglebox, you'll most certainly recognise Mica from sitting on the sofa with her husband, Marcus.
James Buckley – He's most famous for playing the hilarious Jay Cartwright in the E4 sitcom, The Inbetweeners.
Amy Walsh – Fans of Emmerdale will recognise actress Amy from playing the role of Tracey Metcalfe on the soap.
Marcus Brigstock – Actor and comedian Marcus is a regular on our screens, particularly in comedy panel shows.
Cheryl Hole – The drag queen found fame after appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
DJ Locksmith – He's a part of the famous music group Rudimental famous for tracks like Waiting All Night and Feel the Love.
Max George – Best known as the lead singer of boy band The Wanted, we can't wait to see his cooking skills.
Shazia Mira – You may have seen comedian, actress and writer Shazia performing standup.
Remi Burgz – Radio 1xtra presenter Remi is a London based presenter and DJ.
Michael Praed – The actor and narrator is perhaps most famous for his role in Robin of Loxley.
Luca Bish – He was a contestant on the 2022 series of Love Island.
apl.de.ap – Fans of the pop group Black Eyed Peas will be very familiar with apl.de.ap
Who are the judges?
As always, the loveable Greg Wallace and John Torrode will be returning to their judging roles, giving the celebs some helpful cooking hints and tips along the way.
When is Celebrity Masterchef on tv?
The new series of Masterchef began on Wednesday August 2, 2023 and will be remaining on our screens for the next six weeks. You can watch Celebrity Masterchef on BBC One Wednesday-Friday each week.
