In 2023, Andrew returned to the stage with Vanya, a one-man play based on the work of famous playwright Anton Chekhov. He took on all eight of the roles, which was no mean feat. The show won 'Best Play Revival' at the WhatsOnStage Awards.

Andrew Scott: Ripley

Andrew's new TV drama Ripley, is coming to Netflix on the 4th April 2024. It's based on an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's bestselling The Talented Mr. Ripley and is about a guy named Tom who is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy and bring his son home, which then leads to a life of criminality.

Tom Ripley (the lead role) is played by Andrew Scott and he's joined by fellow actors Dakota Fanning and Johnny Flynn.

Andrew Scott: Hamlet

When it comes to West End plays, Hamlet is one of the most acclaimed productions (with the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, David Tennant and Maxine Peake playing the lead in different adaptations) and back in 2017, Andrew took on the titular role. With his intense gaze and magnetic presence on stage, he brought a fresh and compelling interpretation to the iconic character.

Some of the other cast members included Jessica Brown Findlay as Ophelia, Bridgerton's Luke Thompson as Laertes, Juliet Stevenson and Gertrude and Nikesh Patel as Fortinbras.

In 2019, Andrew played the "Hot Priest" and forbidden love interest of Phoebe Waller Bridge's Fleabag in series 2, which is arguably his most famous role to date.

In his latest film role, Andrew plays a lonely writer called Adam, who is struggling to come to terms with his past. He is joined by co-stars Paul Mescal (Normal People, Aftersun), Claire Foy (The Crown) and Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot).

Andrew Scott: Sherlock

Andrew Scott's portrayal of the villainous Moriarty in BBC's Sherlock drew him to a new level of fame overnight.
