Not sure you're the festival type? The Big Feastival is a family-friendly, food-filled weekend that everyone will enjoy!
If you're a foodie, music fan or are just looking for a fun-filled family weekend then the Big Feastival (25-27th Aug) is for you!
Now in it's sixth year and hosted by Jamie Oliver and held on Alex Jones' (from Blur) farm in the Cotswolds, it's a festival like no other.
You'll find a huge line-up of top chef demonstrations including; Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver, Antonio Carluccio, Prue Leith and Gizzi Erskine, to name but a few!
Enjoy live music from the likes of Madness, Olly Murs, Ella Eyre and the Cuban Brothers- plus many more!
To keep the little ones entertained will be CBeebies star Justin Fletcher, Dick and Dom and Marshall from Paw Patrol!
There's also a whole host of new attractions this year. First up is The Big Feastival Fire Pit. Enjoy campfire sing-a-longs, marshmallow toasting and relax in this new hot spot with entertainment starting from dusk every day. Daylesford Organic will also be cooking with their very own open fire spits from midday and serving the highest quality produce: drop in for a tasty treat.
Even seasoned festival-goers will marvel at the range of activities on offer at Alex James' farm this summer. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at bread-making, fish-filleting, pasta-making or even butchery? NEFF will this year be launching the Skillery, giving you the chance to sharpen up on some more specific cookery skills. This specialist area will allow food lovers to learn essential skills and techniques from culinary experts and be sure to wow all your future dinner party guests.
The best of British will be on show over on the Village Green, where you can take part in a good old knees-up with Morris dancing or soak up the deliciously intoxicating poetry from renowned poets in the Poetry on Tap section. Or, if you fancy trying something even quirkier this August, why not take part in a Ukulele Workshop or a Laughing Yoga session to start the day in Tom Fool's Tree House?
Another brand new addition for the year is The Common Room, a paradise for teens with the likes of table tennis, air hockey and special workshops to inspire and entertain. Partnering with BIC, the future lyricists of tomorrow are invited to enter their very own lyrics for a chance for their original song to be performed on the main stage! The young (and the young at heart) are invited to roll up their sleeves and get creative in the Crayons & Crafts space: making everything from feathered festival headbands to superhero costumes, tie-dye masterpieces and more with back-to-back workshops every day.
