According to several sources, applying Vaseline to your lashes before going to bed might help to stimulate hair and lash growth. Just remember to wash it off in the morning and be really careful not to get it on the inside of your eye.

2. Feet treatment

Rub a coat of Vaseline on your feet at night. Put on a pair of cotton socks and you'll wake up up to lovely soft feet. The perfect treatment for getting your feet ready for sandal season.

3. Shine your shoes

If you can't find any shoe polish then Vaseline is a great alternative. Head to the bathroom and grab a tiny bit of Vaseline to create a quick shine.

5. Keeping hair dye off your skin

If you're colouring your hair at home, use Vaseline around your hairline, ears and neck to prevent dye spots occurring. The Vaseline will act as a barrier between the dye and your skin.

6. Tame your eyebrows

If you've got rogue eyebrows, use the Vaseline to get them back into shape. Just slick a tiny bit onto your brows to achieve a tidy look.

7.  Smile for the camera

If you're posing for photos, apply a small amount of Vaseline to your front teeth. Your lips won't stick to your teeth and you'll be able to produce a bigger smile. It also stops your lipstick sticking to your teeth.

8. Distress your furniture

You can also use Vaseline to distress your furniture. Paint your furniture in a base coat and apply Vaseline to the areas you want to distress. Paint your final colour over the top and the areas covered in Vaseline will give the illusion of worn paintwork.

9. De-frizz your hair

Ruba tiny amount of  Vaseline into your hands, then apply to your hair. The effect will vary, depending on your hair type. Take care not to use to much, you don't want greasy hair.

10. Cuticle care

Massage Vaseline into your fingernails and nail beds every night to help soften your cuticles. You'll help prevent dryness and heal cracked skin.
