The Proscenic T31 air fryer oven is a 15l digital air fryer with rapid air circulation, an LED touch screen and app control compatibility. With energy prices on the rise, air fryers have become a modern, convenient cost-effective way of cooking; and the T31 is an impressive piece of kit to support any household.

The T31 has twelve preset programs and is not your usual air fryer as it also holds oven functionalities such as to pre-heat food and/or 'keep warm'. It also stems away from a typical air fryer as you can use several accessories such as skewers, a rotisserie cage, tongs or fork, a cooking tray and a drip pan (not all included). Find out how we got on with Proscenic's T31 digital air fryer oven in our review below.

12 preset functions

Turbo Air Technology

With seven-times more air circulation power than normal air fryers, the T31 creates 360 degrees air circulation and reduces fat in food by 85%.

Connectivity

Download the Proscenic app to set and control the air fryer oven. This allows you to prep food, set it in the oven and control features from anywhere in your house, or even if you're on your way home from work.

Oven style qualities

The glass door is unlike any air fryer we've used and allows you to see and check your food while it's cooking.

Testing the Proscenic T31 digital air fryer oven

The T31 is my latest kitchen appliance and has helped me cook my food to crispy perfection and with the added bonus of using little to no oil. For health-conscious folk like myself with high blood pressure problems, I was thrilled to try this air fryer oven by Proscenic.

I like that I've been able to cook food in its purest form, without adding calories or additional fat and simply enjoying food for what it is seasoned in. The T31 was easy to set up, it's literally straight out of the box, plug and go. I was able to get to grips with the controls swiftly, the screen is completely digital except for one toggle button that does the timer and the temperature control. The twelve presets show up as circular symbols on the screen and represent things like pizza, bacon, vegetables, fish, bread, cake, and chips.

This appliance is versatile and can cook a variety of foods, from a whole chicken to chips, to vegetables and even desserts. With the T31’s easy-to-use controls and quick cooking times, I have become an air-frying goddess.

Food I've air fried in the T31

The T31 has really made my normal oven and microwave redundant appliances in my kitchen, from making potted eggs in 7 minutes (3 minutes to prepare and 4 minutes cook time) to cooking chicken thighs in 20 minutes. The T31 has become my main power source for making lunch and evening meals. After using the pre-heat function, setting the T31 to 180 degrees for 4 minutes and then adding in a non-stick ramekin to make my potted eggs, the appliance bleeped to notify me that cooking time was over and my food was ready and cooked to perfection.

The T31 comes with a recipe booklet packed with 100 meal ideas for appetisers, entrees, breakfast, sides and desserts. This variety is a good base for anyone starting out with an air fryer oven. From then on, and the more I used the T31, I've been able to improvise and learn cooking times for each food category. The instruction manual recommends pre-heating the air fryer oven, especially before cooking meats.

I have been so impressed with how my food has retained so much flavour and in turn I was also impressed at how easy it was to clean. We have enough to do around the house on a daily basis, and the T31 is a breath of fresh air limiting the time that I spend in the kitchen and allowing me more time with my family.

There are two shelves to cook on, you can also use the base of the air fryer oven too, but I mainly used this section to catch oils as this is where the drip tray accessory lives. Out of all the accessories included, the drip pan and cooking tray have been a dream. They both are dishwasher-compatible and keep the cooking chamber from any spillages. The cooking chamber itself was easy to clean with a mild damp soapy cloth.

This is a sturdy piece of kit and although it's quite chunky – so you may want to have a rethink if you have a small kitchen – it's durable and will definitely replace your oven.

Proscenic T31 digital air fryer oven final thoughts

Since using the Proscenic T31 I have become a fully-fledged air fryer user. The T31 has more than halved my cooking times and by far has created less for me to clean. You can connect the appliance to the Proscenic app, however, I won't be using this feature as I'm not very techy. What I will say is that everything that you can do manually on the T31 you can do via the app if you choose to.

I've found the large cooking capacity (15l) very useful, and I can cook for myself or my children and grandchildren combined. I feel the price is reasonable if you're cooking for a family of four and above, plus I know I'm saving money in the long run by using this air fryer instead of my oven.

Proscenic T31 digital air fryer oven FAQs

Is an air fryer worth it?

Research shows that your standard convection oven can omit upwards of 2000w, while an air fryer is around 800w – this means you're likely to save on your energy bills by switching to cooking mostly with an air fryer. There are also health benefits to using an air fryer as most food can be cooked with little to no cooking oil.

Should I choose an oven air fryer over a standard air fryer?

The Proscenic air fryer oven is unique as it allows 360 degrees worth of air circulation and can also perform like an oven as it has multiple accessories such as rotisserie tools.
