How did this product make your life easier?
In short, this is not your average fan. The [Beldray EH1331](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beldray%C2%AE-EH1331-Premium-Oscillating-Pedestal/dp/B08FC4BRRM8FC4BRRM) helps create a more stable, cooler indoor environment and the 360 rotation means you don’t have to jostle for position to be in front of it. It’s perfect for families and when entertaining guests.
Assembly was pretty straight forward but for a novice like me it took about 30 minutes. The instruction manual didn’t tell you that the screws for the pedestal feet and the fan cap were located with the remote control, though I would imagine this was just a case of my common sense not kicking in (happens more often than I would care to admit) so I found myself checking everywhere to make sure nothing had fallen out of the box. The feet for the pedestal were also a little stiff to put on but I got there in the end and proudly enjoyed the achievement of not having to involve my husband in the set-up process.
The fan itself is powerful! The head fan can either be fixed, controlled to move up and down or in a 360 degree rotation. The complete rotation movement is excellent as we found it helped to keep the whole room at a more even, cooler temperature. This function is also great in that everyone in the room can get a cool blast of air too, without having to reposition themselves!
The technology in the fan itself is pretty smart in that you can set it to replicate natural cool wind, so you can bring a little of the ‘outside in’. Again, we found this function lead to a more stable cooling effect all round.
As for night-time, we appreciate what Beldray are trying to accomplish - the sleep mode makes the fan slowly decrease in speed to the lowest setting in natural mode, so as to help the user gently fall asleep. One member in our house struggles to fall asleep and stay that way, so they found the sleep setting a little too noisy.
For those that don't have a problem falling asleep, even to a little noise, they can either keep the night-mode on as a constant or using the timer, have it set to up a maximum of 7.5 hours before it switches off automatically - this setting is also great for day-time use.
Would you recommend this product?
Yes, if you are looking for a day fan with extra range and 'oooomph!'. It is great value for money, looks good, has enough range of settings to suit all family needs and is easy to use with the handy remote!

As a day fan, yes, based on the excellent value for money.
What changes would you make to this product?
I hope Beldray won't mind the pun but we weren't a 'fan' of the night setting. The night-mode setting is a great concept and perfect for anyone who can get to sleep easily and stay that way - for light sleepers, the night setting may not be quiet enough for you. We would also like a handle somewhere on the fan, even just a small one, to help when transporting the fan to other rooms.
