Good news for crime drama fans: The Crow Girl is officially coming back for a second season. After its gripping debut earlier this year, the dark and twisty series left viewers desperate for more and now it’s been confirmed that the story isn’t over yet.
Starring Keeping Faith's Eve Myles and Happy Valley's Katherine Kelly, the second instalment is picking up right where the left off, with even "more twists" and "more darkness".
What is The Crow Girl season 2 about?
After the first series of the Paramount+ show - which followed the investigation into the grisly killings of teenage boys and left viewers on a cliffhanger - season two of The Crow Girl sees Bristol Police Detective Jeanette Kilburn juggling personal upheaval with a dark, twisting investigation.
Having ended her marriage, Jeanette has found herself involved with the enigmatic psychologist Dr. Sophia Craven. But there’s little time for romance: the pair are soon drawn into a chilling new case when a mummified body hidden in a church wall and a corpse discovered in a freezer reveal “a shocking connection.”
The synopsis continues: "As Jeanette digs deeper, Sophia begins to suspect Victoria Burkeman, her mysterious and unstable former patient who has previously been convicted for multiple murders, could be responsible. With the case growing darker, Sophia suspects Victoria is more familiar than she thought, and Jeanette must face the terrifying truth: the killer may be closer than she ever imagined".

Who's in the cast of The Crow Girl season 2?
Eve Myles (The Guest, Torchwood) returns as Detective Jeanette Kilburn, with Katherine Kelly (Happy Valley, In Flight) back as Dr. Sophia Craven.
They’re joined by Victoria Hamilton (The Crown, COBRA) and Clara Rugaard (Black Mirror, The Rising) from season one, alongside some brand-new cast members who will be announced in due course.
