Much-loved TV host Alison Hammond is getting up close and personal with some of Britain's biggest celebrities in her brand-new show, Alison Hammond's Big Weekend.

In this exciting new series, Alison - best known for presenting This Morning - spends 48 hours with a different celebrity each episode, giving viewers a unique glimpse into the lives of some of the nation’s most beloved stars. Expect laughter, heartfelt conversations and plenty of surprises as she brings her trademark warmth and charm to each celebrity interview.

Who are the celebs on Alison Hammond's Big Weekend?

The Great British Bake Off and For the Love of Dogs presenter will be visiting six celebrities from the worlds of entertainment and sport:

• Jimmy Carr (Comedian and presenter)
Sir Lenny Henry (Comedian and actor)
• Perrie Edwards (Singer-songwriter, previously in the girl band Little Mix)
• Mel B (Singer, Scary Spice from The Spice Girls)
• Luke Evans (Actor and singer)
• Tony Bellew (Former professional boxer)

Alison told the BBC that the most surprising thing she learned from her celebrity guests was just how unexpected their lives could be. “For starters,” she said, “Jimmy Carr chooses to get into ice baths for fun - who does that?! Then there’s Mel B - not just a Spice Girl, but a full-on farm girl with goats and chickens! And Lenny Henry? That man has stories for days. I had to stop a few times just to take it all in!”
