  1. Convert your Tesco Clubcard points into day trips – it’s much better value than using them towards your shopping. Lots of attractions have offers to choose from, so check www.tesco.com/clubcard to see what’s available
  2. Visiting a London attraction? National Rail offers two-for-one tickets for attractions including London Zoo, Madame Tussauds and the London Dungeon when you travel by train.
  3. Many venues offer a reduced price if you buy tickets in advance online. Or call the attraction before you leave home and ask about any special offers they may have available.
  4. Kellogg’s has brought back its Grown-Ups Go Free promotion.  Cut out a voucher from a cereal box and take it along to attractions including Legoland Windsor and Alton Towers. As long as you’re buying at least one full-price child or adult ticket, an adult can get in free. Vouchers are valid until June 2017. For information visit Grownupsgofree.kelloggs.co.uk or pick up a box of cereal featuring the promotion
  5. Get inspired with outdoor activity ideas for little ones in the National Trust’s 50 Things To Do Before You’re 11 and 3/4 campaign From building dens to finding frogspawn, they can tick off each milestone online. Visit National Trust
