Inside each gorgeously coloured box you'll find 19 full-size products, three mini-sized products and two sample-size products. For me, it's the right balance of best-selling MAC favourites like the MACXimal Lipsticks and MACSTACK Mascara, coupled with luxury skin essentials such as the Hyper Real Cream Cleanser, and a few limited edition surprises thrown in, like the guasha tool and gel eye pads.
As you can see, this calendar delivers when it comes to saving you money. All the products below collectively cost £423, but when buying the MAC Advent Calendar, at £195, you're saving £228!

Is the MAC 2025 Advent Calendar worth the money?
In terms of value for money you can't fault this luxury beauty calendar. Yes, I know £195 is a lot to spend on an advent calendar, but with so many full-sized products amounting to a total of £423, you are making a big saving.
Also, the magic of this calendar is in the sheer unboxing of it. The luxury studed rose gold box opens up to reveal a generously sized mirror, with a tray of bright coloured boxes filled with treats. But that's not it, as you pull the middle of the box, the sides come away to reveal two sets of intricate drawers, more boxes and a secret compartment labelled 24.
The box itself is perfect for displaying on your dressing table and even when Christmas is over, it's too beautiful to throw away and can be used as a makeup storage box. It's incredibly sturdy, so it won't fall apart if you keep it as a permanent fixture on your table.
Final thoughts
If you want to delight any makeup fan this Christmas, this is the advent calendar to do it. Not only does it contain some fabulous products (all in fairly neutral shades to suit all colourings), but it's such a fun box to unwrap. With all its clever compartments and theatrical reveals, it really is a joyous way to countdown to Christmas.
I love that the box itself can be kept and reused, and for me, it features the ideal mix of makeup versus skincare. The icing on the cake is revealing door number 24- as you pull down the tab, the final surprise pops out of the box in the most magical fashion.
Again, this beauty advent calendar isn't cheap but the quality products, build, design and theatrics of the reusable box make the MAC Advent Calendar it worth every penny for me.
