Channel 4 has announced the cast for its brand-new darkly comic thriller Wrong Move, lead by Eve Myles and impressive ensemble in a story where the dream of moving house quickly turns into chaos.
From the team behind Big Boys and Coma, the six-part series follows a group of homebuyers whose lives are thrown into turmoil after one man’s decision to pull out of a property sale sends shockwaves through the entire chain, and it’s not long before tensions, secrets and control issues begin to surface.
Who's in the cast of Wrong Move?
Rory Kinnear (Years and Years, Bank of Dave) stars as Michael, a 40-something-year-old man whose patience is pushed to the limit as everything around him starts to fall apart, while Eve Myles (Gone, Keeping Faith) plays Catherine, his wife, who is desperate for their “forever home” to be the answer to a struggling marriage.
Meanwhile their son Jack, played by Austin Haynes (Unforgivable, Adolescence), has a deeper involvement in the ongoing crisis than they expect.
At the centre of the chaos is David Thewlis (Harry Potter, The Omen) as Trevor, a volatile and manipulative sociopath whose last-minute withdrawal from the sale triggers the chain reaction that unravels everything. His actions also expose deeper family tensions, including with his father Arthur, played by David Bradley (Game of Thrones, Harry Potter).

Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark, The Couple Next Door) also stars as Stella, who is preparing for a major life change with her partner Juliette, played by Gwyneth Keyworth (Death Valley, Lost Boys & Fairies), as they navigate the pressures of starting a family while everything else around them spirals.
The cast is rounded out by Daisy Morgan (The Power, Giant) as Molly, Ali Khan (A Haunting in Venice, Everybody Burns) as Asif, Evie Kaisi (newcomer) as Emily, Ray Fearon (The Feud, Barbie) as Danny, Paul Bazely (Such Brave Girls, Black Mirror) as DS Berry, Laura Elsworthy (Cinderella, Testament of Youth) as DC Jenkins, and Alex MacQueen (The Thick of It, The Feud) as estate agent Alistair.

Blending dark humour with high-stakes domestic drama, Wrong Move explores how one decision can unravel multiple lives, and how, when it comes to moving house, you don’t always leave your problems behind.
When can I watch Wrong Move?
Wrong Move is currently filming in West Yorkshire, with Channel 4 yet to confirm an official release date.
