It’s that lovely time of year again - the TV Choice Awards 2027 are now open for your votes. With 18 brilliant categories on offer, there’s something for every TV fan - but if dramas are your comfort watching, this is your moment to shine a light on the shows that have kept you glued to your screens
There’s something special about a drama that keeps us hooked episode after episode – the kind of show we can all get caught up in, talk about and enjoy together. This year’s Best Drama Series nominees offer a brilliant mix of gripping, adventurous and heartfelt stories. From the fantastical worlds of Stranger Things and House of the Dragon to the warmth and heart of All Creatures Great and Small and Call the Midwife, these shows have captivated us with unforgettable stories and characters.
There are also gritty dramas such as MobLand and A Thousand Blows, while streaming favourites including Bridgerton, Emily in Paris and Rivals bring plenty of passion, and glamour to our screens. And for younger viewers, Waterloo Road and Crookhaven tackle the challenges of growing up, friendships and everything that comes with being young.

The prize draw opens twice – midday on Tuesday 6th October 2026 until midnight on Tuesday 20th October 2026 during the longlist voting phase, and reopens on midday Friday 6th November 2026 until midnight on Sunday 22nd November 2026 during the shortlist voting phase. Entries from both the longlist and shortlist phases of the voting will be eligible. Whilst you may vote more than once, you will only be allowed one entry into the prize draw. The prize includes one pair of tickets to the 2027 TV Choice Awards taking place at The London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 8th February 2027 and one night’s accommodation in a standard twin room at The London Hilton on Park Lane on a bed & breakfast basis. Both attendees must be over the age of 18 at the time of the event. ID may be required as proof of age as alcohol may be served at the event. The winners will have access to the awards ceremony, dinner and after-party. Travel to and from the venue and any other food and drink is not included. The winner will be the first name drawn at random after the closing date. The winner will be notified by email within 10 days of the closing date and has 10 days to respond before an alternative winner is chosen.
