After the huge success of It's A Sin, Doctor Who writer Russell T. Davies is bringing another LGBTQ+ drama to Channel 4 called Tip Toe.
Starring BAFTA and Emmy award winner Alan Cumming as Leo, a "vivid, funny and dynamic" bar owner in Manchester’s Gay Village and Sherwood actor David Morrissey, as his "unsmiling and troubled next-door neighbour", the series is said to contain Russell's "trademark wit" while focusing on prejudices that are creeping back in.
What's Tip Toe about?
Here's the official synopsis from Channel 4: "Leo and Clive have lived next door to each other in Manchester for almost 15 years. But just as life should be settling down, the world around them is growing more tense.
"Words become weapons, opinions become radicalised, and gradually, two neighbours become deadly enemies in a tense, suburban thriller which challenges everything we consider to be safe."

Who's in the cast of Tip Toe?
• Alan Cumming (The Good Wife, The Traitors) as Leo
• David Morrissey (Sherwood, The Walking Dead) as Clive
• Elizabeth Berrington (Virdee, Frauds) as Stephanie
• Denise Welch (Waterloo Road, Hollyoaks) as Diane
