From the producers of Marcella comes In Flight, a gripping new Channel 4 crime thriller that promises to be one of the best dramas of the year. With intense storytelling and a high-stakes plot, the series is set to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The first-look images show Katherine Kelly as a flight attendant pulled into a dangerous criminal underworld, fighting to protect the person she loves most. But how far will she go and what risks is she willing to take?

What is In Flight about?
The story centres on Jo, a flight attendant whose world is thrown into chaos after she’s coerced into drug smuggling to save her son, who has been jailed in Bulgaria for a murder he insists he didn’t commit.
Caught in a dangerous world of corruption and hitmen, Jo is compelled to obey their demands while searching for a way to escape. She seeks help from her ex, Dom, but no matter how far she drifts from her past, her one goal stays clear: to protect her son at all costs.

In Flight has been written and co-created by Mike Walden (Marcella, Whitstable Pearl) and Adam Randall (Slow Horses, iBoy). They describe it as "our spin on the noir genre, a high stakes, stylish, romantic thriller with iconic characters and nerve shredding action."
They add, “Jo is a character close to our hearts. She is an ordinary woman facing extraordinary odds. We can't wait for audiences to meet her.”
