While there are plenty of new BBC dramas to sink your teeth into, there are some brilliant returning sitcoms too and Here We Go season 3 is one you won’t want to miss.
After two hilariously awkward series of everyday mishaps, the Jessop family is back. Created by and starring Tom Basden, this much-loved comedy is told through the lens of teenage son Sam, who documents their day-to-day life in a mock-documentary style. The result is a warm, funny, and all-too-relatable portrait of suburban family life.
In this latest outing, the Jessops take their chaos abroad on a family holiday, with all the laughs, dramas and unexpected turns you’d expect. With a mix of familiar faces and exciting guest stars, Here We Go season 3 continues to capture the perfectly imperfect moments that most families will recognise (and secretly love).

What is the new series of Here We Go about?
The Jessops are back, and life hasn’t calmed down one bit. Rachel (BAFTA award-winning actress Katherine Parkinson) is starting a new chapter as a therapist, while Paul (Horrible Histories' Jim Howick) is adjusting to his new job as a police constable, though gaining respect, especially from his own kids, remains an uphill battle. Robin (Tom Basden) and Cherry (Tori Allen-Martin) are deep in the world of sleepless nights with their newborn, and Amy’s figuring out adulthood one awkward moment at a time.
With Grandma Sue (played by the iconic Alison Steadman) back in the family home and teenage Sam (Jude Morgan-Collie) never far from his camera, the family stumbles through everyday life, from emotional highs to hilarious setbacks. And this time, their misadventures take them abroad, with a family trip to Malta that (predictably) doesn’t quite go to plan.
