The Vicar of Dibley star plays widow Debbie Fendon and is joined by Friday Night Dinner icon Mark Heap (the socially-awkward neighbour, Jim). Written by Simon Mayhew-Archer, the producer of Daisy May and Charlie Cooper's This Country, we can expect plenty of laughs!
What is Can You Keep a Secret? about?
The thing is, Debbie isn't actually a widow... She's a "granny, lawn bowler, tinpot dictator - who will stop at nothing to make sure her family’s protected."
When her hermit-like husband William is accidentally pronounced dead, the couple decide to carry out a life insurance scam. "Just a few months hiding out in the loft waiting for the life insurance to pay out, and then they can live out their golden years in peace," says the description from the BBC.
Their son Harry is reluctantly in on the plan, but he becomes more and more frazzled as he tries to keep the scheming a secret from his police officer partner.
