The Treetop Trek in the heart of the Lake District is celebrating Halloween in style this year by offering a free zip-wire ‘flight’ for all witches and wizards over the age of five who come dressed in spooky style.
The attraction - recently named the best tourism experience in the country - is running its ‘Trek or Treat’ event from 4.30pm on Saturday 30th October and pre-booking is recommended.
Fly through the ancient-oak woodland canopy
Those wanting to extend their adventure can enjoy a one-hour Mini Trek from £18 per person and swing, climb, balance and fly through the ancient-oak woodland canopy, with spectacular views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells, while connected to a unique continuous safety cable which enables everyone from aged five upwards to join in the fun.
Treetop Trek’s location at Brockhole means there will plenty to do before adventuring through the trees too, with a free ghoulish scavenger hunt, spooky stories, Halloween crafts and more on offer, alongside the usual offerings of boat and bike hire, mini golf and a free adventure playground.
All little witches and wizards are welcome for their free flight regardless of whether they are embarking on a Treetop Trek. To find out more and book places, call 01539 447186 or click here.
