Get heart healthy with summer cycling!

The BHF cycling series will include around 25 different cycling events, including the legendary London to Brighton Bike Ride which celebrates its 40th year anniversary in 2015, BHF bike rides are open to a variety of abilities. Choose from a variety of cycle rides in a number of locations around the UK and help power essential research with every mile.
Why not take on a classic ride with a difference? The London to Brighton Night Ride (12th – 13th July) takes riders on a 60 mile trip from city to sea underneath the moonlight. Or take on what is known to many as the toughest off-road ride in the UK and tackle the South Downs Way Off-Road Bike Ride (19th July).
Andy Tennant, BHF Cycling Champion, said: “Cycling is a great inclusive sport that everyone can enjoy and the BHF offers a fantastic series of bike rides whatever level you’re at, distance you want to go or terrain you want to tackle. You’ll also save lives along the way as the money you raise funds research into heart disease and supports those affected by it.  I should know; I was one of them, having had heart surgery as a teenager.”
Each year around 60,000 cyclists get on their bike and challenge themselves on road, off-road, overnight or overseas for the BHF, raising approximately £5million. Every mile cycled helps the BHF in the fight for every heartbeat.
