Looking to improve your fitness over 50? Be:Fit London will make it easy.
Held at the Business Design Centre, Islington, from April 29 - May 1, it's a mixture of live events, classes and stalls selling everything you could possibly need to start your fitness journey.
If you're feeling daunted, yoga classes are the way to go. These slow sessions are great for improving flexibility and balance, as well as giving your body a good stretch - you'll feel years younger after one class. Expert Tara Stiles will be running sessions on each of the days, so make sure to sign up in advance. The other advantage is you won't end up too sweaty for the rest of your day.
When you get peckish, you'll find so many healthy stalls selling goodies, including Nakd who do our favourite raw fruit and nut bars (honestly, give one a try). For inspiration in your own kitchen, make sure to catch one of the workshops on the main stage from healthy chefs including Amelia Freer and Madeleine Shaw. (Check the website for dates and times).
Ticket prices start from £25 for a day pass.
Upgrade your ticket to a VIP pass, £75, for a day of luxury including a glass of fizz, treatments, no queuing for classes and a goody bag worth £50.
