Christmas cards to support disabled artists

Christmas cards to support disabled artists
511-518-group-shot%20HR.jpg

Look at these cards and just imagine how difficult it would be to paint anything as pretty and detailed (our homemade cards are always rather slapdash at best!) Now imagine that you can't use your arms, and you have to hold a paintbrush in your mouth.

These stunning cards were produced by artists from the MFPA - a collective, including Alison Lapper MBE, formed by disabled artists to help them achieve financial independence through their art. Wholly owned by its disabled artists, its unique, international business structure ensures a sustainable income for its members and provides the necessary resources needed to encourage and develop new student artist talent.

The range includes:

Angel by Markus Kolp
Angels in the Sky by Ruth Christensen
Christmas Story by Bruce Peardon
Snow in London by Keith Jansz
The Nativity by Jon Clayton
Winter Robin by Ian Parker

All of which - amazingly - were painted by the talented artists using only their mouths.
