What they say...

The 4-star Dream Castle Hotel is a Selected Hotel of Disneyland Paris and provides numerous services like a free shuttle for the parks, a Disney shop, tickets for the parks at the reception, Disney express service and much more!

What our tester thought...

We started our long weekend in style with coffee and croissants on the Eurostar from London, St Pancreas. Arriving at Disneyland train station in under three hours (with no changes for heavy bags) the holiday was quick to get going.

We took a free shuttle bus from directly outside the station to the Dream Castle hotel where we checked in, dropped our bags then headed straight into central Paris.

The Dream Castle Hotel is well located for lots of attractions around the French capital. Besides Disneyland, there were so many other places of interest just waiting to be discovered.

Our first day in Paris was spent exploring the city in the back of a convertible Citroen 2CV. The driver spoke wonderful English and he showed us the parts of Paris you’d expect to see on a postcard. Our evening was spent relaxing on the terrace of the hotel bar before retiring to our very comfy bed before a full day in the Disneyland park.

The shuttle bus to the park made it easy for us to get up at our own pace and enjoy the breakfast buffet to its full potential. On the way to the park we took a trip to one of Europe’s largest shopping malls, Val d’Europe, as well as to the luxurious shopping village of La Vallée Village (the French equivalent of Bicester Shopping Village).

Disneyland itself is as magical as you would imagine. There is plenty to do for those of us who aren’t thrill-seekers. We enjoyed a spin on the Mad Hatter's tea cups, an ice cream on Main Street and dinner at King Ludwig’s Castle in Disney Village. The highlight of the weekend was watching the Disney Dreams show. The beautiful display of lights, sound and water was well worth staying up for.

Our packed weekend didn’t stop because of a late night and on our final day we enjoyed a drive to the beautiful Champagne wine region (just 45 minutes away) to sample some of Taittinger’s finest before moving on to marvel at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Reims.

The Dream Castle is perfectly located to take in everything the area has to offer and keep the whole family happy.
