The best spots to go easter egg hunting this March

It's almost that time of year again when we buy in the roast lamb, make up a steaming batch of hot cross buns and eat one (or four) too many chocolates.

And with the grandchildren off school for a fortnight, Easter is a great time to get everyone together for a fun day out. This year, the National Trust have teamed up with Cadbury to offer more than 250 easter egg hunt-themed family days out around the country between 25-28 March. From spring woodlands and craggy coastlines, to historic houses and enchanting castles, ther's an egg hunt in every nook and cranny of the UK.

What’s more, even if your egg detective skills don't get you far, everyone will be rewarded with a delicious Cadbury chocolate treat at the end of each completed hunt, and every single Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt will help support special places looked after by the National Trust for future generations to explore.
