It can be really difficult to take care of someone who is living with dementia and quite upsetting when they begin to forget precious memories you have together. If you're beginning to struggle a little with care, you may want to consider getting the help of an Admiral Nurse.

Admiral Nurses work with Dementia UK and provide the specialist dementia support that families need. When things get challenging or difficult, our nurses work alongside families, giving them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions they need to face dementia with more confidence and less fear.

Dementia UK has released this short animated film below named Together Again. It explores feelings of being lost in dementia and how specialist dementia nurses can help families reconnect with one another.

If you think you or someone you know may benefit from the help of an Admiral nurse, call their dementia helpline on 0800 888 6678 or send an email to helpline@dementiauk.org
