Here’s what our tester thought of the Zerowater 12 cup water filter jug in our review
ZeroWater is the only water filter brand that delivers the equivalent to purified bottled water into your home. Developed a pour-through system, with an aim to deliver the best filtration possible with their premium five-stage ion exchange technology, this filter removes virtually all total dissolved solids (TDS). It removes more total contaminants from water than a regular Brita filter, making it a must have for all homes in the UK.
Our reviewer thought…
The jug was easy to set up and get started with. The fact you can pour water whilst it is still filtering water is great & saves you a lot of time. There is also a one-hand ‘push to dispense’ spout that makes it super easy to fill bottles with.
The jug is rather large and if you prefer your water to be served chilled, you will struggle to put it in the door of a normal size fridge. You will need to make room for it on a shelf.
It comes with a free TDS (total dissolved solids) meter. This was very easy to use and really hit home as to what is in normal unfiltered water. It read 0.00 in the filtered water and 342 in the unfiltered tap water, which was quite shocking to see.
Although it can be very difficult to say that certain water tastes differently, you did feel that this filtered water was better tasting & that may be down to the fact the filter helps to remove 99% of all fluoride in the water as well as 99.6% of all dissolved solids.
