They say:

Slip-on sneakers get a kicky makeover with perforated cutouts across soft leather uppers. Twin gore panels give you all-day walkability.

Our reviewer thought:

These casual shoes look great and feel really well made and of nice quality. I already have a pair of Vionic shoes, so I choose the same size, but initially these slip-ons felt very tight. Looking on the website I can see Vionic recommend wearing them for just a few hours for the first few days and this is definitely advice you need to follow. My original pair felt like they might rub my heel the first few wears (they never did though and are now super comfy). This pair didn’t feel like they’d rub in any particular place, but did feel snug all over. After about a week of wearing them in gradually they felt much roomier. Even though they felt tight, they didn’t rub at all or leave my feet sore. Now, after a month or two of wear they’re easily the comfiest shoes I own.

They feature a soft leather upper and a removable footbed, the sole is made from a durable rubber that even after lots of wear still looks pristine. They feature podiatrist-designed FMT Technology, so are supposed to give orthotic support, relief and support to help realign the feet back in their natural position. Research suggests that this FMT technology can reduce flat feet, which has been linked heel pain, knee pain and lower back pain. While I can’t really comment on the alignment of my feet, I do have high insteps and found these very supportive – even when wearing them for long periods of time. The ultimate recommendation is that I have never worn these shoes with socks and they haven’t caused any rubs or sore toes!

Available in sizes 3-9 (including half sizes), the Midi Perf style comes in five different shades. The particular style I tested isn’t suitable for wider feet, but the brand have lots of other styles that would accommodate. While they are not the cheapest of shoes, I think for the quality and fit they’re a great buy. Vionic also have great sales, with items often 50 per cent cheaper – so well worth a look!
