Zap-It! works to reduce the itch and swelling on all kinds of insect bites and stings such as mosquitoes, fleas, bees, wasps, ticks and bed bugs, nettle stings, spider and scorpion bites and even jellyfish stings.
The piezo electric impulse generated by the Zap-It! treats the bite area as it safely changes the cell membranes. The toxin is isolated and disrupted and the histamine response that causes the itching and swelling symptoms is reduced.
Our tester said:
This reduces the bite, but does not remove the toxins or infection. As it’s usually the bite the hurts the most, I was interested in this. Not to be used alongside insect repellant
Off to a family holiday on Spain, someone was bound to be bitten by mosquitoes… and they did. This is a very handy little gadget that can live in a small pocket and doesn’t take up much room in your luggage so is easy to take on days out or to the beach.
Worried that it may be painful, you use it by placing the flat end directly on top of the bite, in contact with your skin, then squeezing the button with your thumb. And it doesn’t hurt a bit. It works most effectively when click on a bite as soon as possible after being bitten, otherwise it doesn’t do much, so you need to remember to take it out with you! Zap-It! proved useful in alleviating the sting, so reducing the need to scratch the bite and make it worse.
A great little gadget for very little outlay and handy for use at home or abroad.
