What they say it does:

Creases will soon be a thing of the past with this soft grip handle, steam shot, and non-stick ceramic soleplate.  Dry, spray, steam and vertical steam functions with variable steam control allow you to select the best option for the task in hand. The 3m cord lets you move with ease and the tank has self cleaning and anti calc functions.

What our reviewer said:

I’ve been persevering with my old iron for some time, despite its regular calcium deposits – so this new model was a real breath of fresh air. While not at the top of the range, this iron is a good £20 or £30 more than I’ve previously paid, so I was interested to see whether it was worth forking out that bit extra. And it was.

It was so much lighter and easier to move, particularly useful if you struggle with weak or poorly wrists. All the functions were easy to work out and though the instructions were basic, I was pleased that the manufacturers hadn’t opted for confusing buzzwords or jargon.

Though not cordless, like some of the more expensive options on the market, the cord is a good length and I don’t have to iron right up next to the wall in order to reach the length of my ironing board.

I liked the generous and well-designed water funnel; makes it really easy to fill the tank. So far the steam functions are working perfectly and believe me, I’ve given it a good few months of regular use!

If you can’t afford – or don’t want – a top model with all the latest gizmos, but spend enough time ironing for a good product to make a noticeable difference, I would definitely recommend this iron.
