What our tester thought...

I suffer from a stiff, knotted back, and frequently pay for professional back massages to try to relief the tension - an expensive habit. I was delighted to try the Shiatsu Max 2.0 especially when I read it delivered a really firm massage. It was really easy to assemble and get started, with a simple 'demo' setting to get you used to the different options. There's a firm Shiatsu setting, which feels like two rotating hands really getting into the knots, as well as a nice rolling setting, which makes you feel as loose as a piece of freshly rolled dough! You can adjust it to concentrate on your upper or lower back, plus add a gentle vibration to loosen up your hips and legs. It's been too hot to really appreciate the heated option, but I can't wait to give it a whirl in winter.

If you're a bit sensitive or prefer a more calming touch, it's probably not the gadget for you, but if you're after a firm massage, you can't do better than this easy, relaxing seat. It left me oh-so sleepy and really helped my aches and pains. While it's not cheap, if it saves you paying for expensive professional help with back pain, it's worth every penny.
