Could this device replace your visits to the hygienist?

Anything that potentially reduces our visits to the dentist is always appealing, so we were keen to review the iWhite Tooth Polisher.
It's a small, simple to use device that looks like an electric toothbrush with a soft head and can be used once a week after you've brushed your teeth. It's designed to remove stains from things like coffee, tea and wine, while giving them a good polish and removing plaque.
I found the iWhite Tooth Polisher really easy to use, gently moving it around my mouth so that it softly brushed my teeth from all angles. It comes with its own polish, which tasted pleasant enough, and I did feel that my teeth felt smoother and slightly cleaner afterwards.
My main complaint is that it doesn't really replicate a professional scale and polish, as it fails to clean in between teeth, so you'll need to give them a good flossing as well.
While it can't compete with a trip to your dentist or hygenist, it's not a bad option for the price and could be a decent addition to your oral health routine, particularly if you eat and drink a lot of staining products.
