What they say it does...

Lightweight yet powerful, the new Gtech Cordless Leaf Blower will make short work of clearing leaves and garden debris.

Our reviewer thought...

When the leaves started to fall, it was given a thorough testing on a garden railway bordered by deciduous trees. To make it worse, it had also been raining, so in typical train company style, we could have made excuses that the trains couldn’t run ‘because of leaves on the track’, but with the Gtech Leaf Blower to hand, we made quick work of clearing the ¼ mile track.

Weighing in at just 4.3kg, the blower is perfectly balanced to put less strain on your arms and back, and because it naturally points down, you’re not fighting it.

The powerful 36V Lithium-ion battery takes about 5hrs to charge (or 1 hour with the Gtech Fast Charger) and will give approximately 20-minute on full power. However, we found with the variable speed trigger making it easy to control combined with the wide nozzle, a light, short burst took care of most of the leaves and a more powerful blast shifted the sludgy leaves wedged in the track.

As with other Gtech products, the battery is interchangeable with the lawnmower, so if you have one, you can just buy the Leaf Blower body at around £129.99

While it seems expensive for something you may only use a few times a year, if you like a neat and tidy garden, this will certainly make it easier for you and if you’re an avid gardener, collecting leaves for your mulch will certainly become less of a chore.
