What it says it does:
Defeats acute and chronic skin dehydration, loads and locks parched skin with critical water, restores soft, smooth, moist texture to dry, crinkled skin. Contains a blend of 21 natural hydrating agents and Ectoin, a moisture grabbing and holding protein that enables organisms to thrive in harsh, arid, desert environments. Bio-protectant Trehalose helps preserve skin’s internal fluidity, keeping it supple, elastic, resilient. A proprietary blend of Hyaluronic Acid and Aqua Cell Complex (lentil, watermelon and apple extracts) loads and refills skin’s essential moisture reserves, for softer, smoother, plumper tone and texture.
Our tester said:
I have such dry skin, this really had a lot to live up to! The list of ingredients and the claims it made seemed promising so I was looking forward to seeing a real difference in my skin and it didn’t disappoint. It smelled really nice and subtle (I don’t like overpowering highly-scented products) and had a more ‘unusual’ feel than the moisturisers I normally use. It didn’t immediately absorb into my skin but felt as though it had coated my face in a protective barrier while simultaneously moisturising. Very different. However, it didn’t feel oily or sticky and after a while the feeling disappeared and I was left with super soft skin with no dryness or tightness. I used this morning and night and my skin positively glowed. I would never normally pay this much for a moisturiser but it seems a little does go a long way so it probably works out the same as cheaper alternatives. Plus, it does an amazing job and you can’t put a price on that. Lastly, I love the timebomb capsule packaging.
