What our tester said...

I tried out two of Dove's new oils - Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla, plus Pistachio and Magnolia. Oils are having 'a moment', with facial, body and even hair varieties popping up all over the shops, with really varied price points, so I was rather pleased with the £8.99 price tag of these two, especially when they both last for ages.

I much preferred the vanilla variety - it was thicker than most oils, making it easier to apply without it running everywhere, and had a nice golden sheen to it. I used it after bathing and it was absorbed quickly enough for me to pop my pjs on more or less immediately. The pistachio version was a more traditional consistancy, and I did get it all over the place when applying (although this is always the case with oils!) The smell was lovely, and lasted on my skin long after the product had been absorbed.

After using both my skin was nicely soft, but I wouldn't say noticeably more so than when using ordinary moisturiser. The main advantages were the smell (divine) and quick absorbtion - plus for £8.99 they are definitely worth a try.
