Designed for rooms up to 15m squared in size, the purifier aims to clean your indoor air completely five times per hour, catching virtually every air born particle including dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, allergens, viruses and bacteria. What our reviewer said

Air purifiers don’t come cheap so at £129, it is a more affordable option for those who want to invest in an air purifier for their home but aren’t keen on splashing out on a high-tech design. The Blueair Pure 411 Air Purifier is extremely easy to set up and very light in weight so can be easily moved around the home depending on which room you need it in most. At one touch of the button, it turns on to start purifying the air.

The best thing about the purifier is the size and weight. The design is very sleek, making it a discreet addition to any room and with a wide range of colour choices, you can match it to your home interiors. There are three power settings to choose from depending on how polluted the air is at that time. For example, when dusting, it’s a good idea to pop it on the highest setting to quickly eliminate dust from the air. The stylish LED light on top indicates which power setting it is on and also notifies you when filters need replacing.

Using it throughout summer, I instantly noticed my hay fever improved and I found it easier to sleep as a result, especially as it is so quiet when it’s on the lowest power setting. It’s also great for asthmatics who may regularly struggle with breathing after being set off by things like dust or pet dander. I’ve also found it is brilliant at getting rid of odours – even when cooking a curry, the smell quickly disappeared. It’s also a great choice environmentally as the purifier uses very little power and also the fact that the particle filter is recyclable.

The only downside is that I doubt it would be as effective in larger sized homes with large rooms as it just doesn’t have the power to purify the air as effectively. I do think however that for most, small to average size homes, the purifier would work perfectly.

Overall, it’s a brilliant product if you or someone in your home suffers from any allergies or asthma or even if you are concerned about pollution in the home. It’s a lightweight, discreet and simple to use purifier making it a great air purifier for most homes.
