Would you try Tesco's weird Christmas crisps?

Tesco’s new Christmas crisp flavour hasn’t found many fans.

Call us traditional – even boring – but some things are sacred. Snow should be cold, hearts should be warm, and crisps should be salted!

We enjoy a prawn cocktail flavour, and will even dabble with sweet chilli now and again, but Tesco’s latest flavour is an experiment too far. They’ve launched a special candy cane flavour. It’s perfect if you’ve ever wished your crisps were more minty… No – neither have we!

Tesco has launched the limited-edition crisp flavour just before Christmas. The crisps are said to have a slight pink hue.

The supermarket's website describes the flavour as: “Hand cooked crisps seasoned and dusted with a sweet peppermint flavouring for a sweet and salty taste experience.”

We say: Bah, (mint) humbug!
