We've always had a soft spot for a Cadbury advent calendar, and we're delighted to hear that this year's is better than ever - they've made it larger! It now weighs in at 200g and combines milk chocolate with filled vanilla cream choccies for £4.99, available at all good supermarkets. We still won't be sharing ours!

For old-world charm we rate this chocolate feast from Carluccio's, £11.95. It's filled with adorable foil-wrapped chocolates, from ladybirds to snowmen.


Until recently chocolate advent calendars were a no-go for people with specific dietary requirements...but not any more! Pop into Holland & Barrett for this tempting dairy-free calendar for £3.99.

Any beer fans in your life will be seriously hoppy (sorry) with this Craft Beer Advent Calendar, £74.99. It's packed with 24 unusual individual craft beer bottles and cans, featuring some truly beautiful labels (although we're sure they taste just as good). There are a mixture of ales and lagers to keep him merry right up until Christmas.


Get this Benefit Party Poppers set for any teen queens in your life, and you're sure to have a peaceful holiday. The set, which plays a song on opening, is packed with 12 treats from the popular make-up brand, and costs £34.95. Covetable items include two mini mascaras, dinky blushers and a mini moisturiser.
