Customers with a Marks & Spencer Sparks card, with more than 5,000 point, can enjoy a generous 20% off your shopping, online and in-store this weekend, from Thursday 16th November – Monday 20th November 2017.
How does the Sparks Card work?
All you need to do is sign into your M&S account, visit your Sparks offers and click ‘claim your bonus offer’ and it will automatically be applied at checkout.
How can I benefit from the discount if I’m not signed up to the Sparks Card?
Both M&S employees and (some) Sparks members will have been sent a sheet of paper vouchers sent in the post, so it’s worth asking your family or friends if they have any spares going.
If you’re shopping with a friend who has a Sparks card, you can also use their card to benefit from the discount – and they’ll get the points too! There’s no limit to how many times you can use the 20% over the course of the weekend, so no one has to miss out.
It might even be worth politely asking a Customer Assistant if they have any vouchers when you get to the till - they often have spares at the checkout.
Why should I get a Sparks Card?
Even if you’ve missed on out on this Sparks event, it’s still worth signing up for a Sparks loyalty card. M&S typically hold these ‘20 per cent off events’ every few months and all you need to have to 5,000 points (which is equivalent to spending £500).
What’s more, by just being signed up to a Sparks card, you’ll receive new, tailor-made offers to choose from each fortnight, where you can save up to 20 per cent off on specific food lines, clothing, homeware, furniture, beauty products, lingerie and kidswear.
The more points you collect, the more of these offers you will unlock. The trick is to ensure that you activate the ones you want to use before you head into store. But if you ever forget to do this this, a Customers Assistant is able to scan your card, go through your offers and activate them for you in-store.
How to get a Sparks card
Pick up a Sparks loyalty card in store and visit the M&S website to register. You will be presented with a screen that allows you to 'Get Started'. You’ll then need a Marks and Spencer online account to be able to register your card. If you have any difficulty setting this up, a Customer Assistant can help you do this in-store.
