Prosecco fans will be popping corks! Lidl is to sell its first Organic Prosecco Spumante in stores from this Thursday, October 12 while stocks last and will cost just £7.99.
Not only is it good for our purses, you're also less likely to have a fuzzy head the next morning if you have one glass too many. Lidl says this is because organic wine producers use a lower level of sulphites in the production process. Sulphite preservatives are used in wine to keep it fresher for longer. So if you don't react well to sulphites you could be saying good riddance to hangovers with Lidl’s Organic Prosecco Spumante.
At £6 cheaper than Ocado’s Organic Prosecco and almost £5 less than Waitrose’s still Organic Chardonnay, it’s sure to be popular. But if you don't get a bottle this time round, the fizz will be back in stores again from November 30.
