Yorkshire Tea is giving away Gruffalo-branded caddies with every box of 80 teabags (RRP £2.49)
The tea brand has teamed up with one of the nation’s favourite children’s characters, The Gruffalo, and swapped its traditional Yorkshire landscape on its packs with a woodland scene featuring the Gruffalo and his famous furry, feathered and slippery friends.
The tea caddies are part of Yorkshire Tea’s pledge to plant one million trees
Axel Scheffler, the artist behind the Gruffalo illustrations, designed the artwork for the tea caddy and author Julia Donaldson developed a new rhyming couplet to support the campaign, which features on the back of the caddies.
The caddies are part of Yorkshire Tea’s tree pledge, which will see one million trees planted over the next five years in the UK and in Kenya - one of the countries where Yorkshire Tea is grown.
The packs are available from major retailers now, while stocks last.
Altogether now: "A mouse took a stroll through a deep, dark wood…"
