Marie Curie's partner Wyevale Garden Centres is selling potted sunflowers to raise money for the charity. The Helianthus Annuus sunflowers are on sale until the end of June and cost £4.99, with 50p from each one sold going to the cause. The flower should grow quite tall, so you could buy one for your grandchildren and see whose grows tallest!
Donations will help people living with a terminal illness
The donations will help the charity fund more care for people living with a terminal illness and their families. Marie Curie employs more than 2,700 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, and with its nine hospices around the UK, is the largest provider of hospice beds outside the NHS.
