The Me.By Me campaign gives a cheer for the real-life woman who loves seeking out stylish, affordable and individual fashions in TK Maxx stores all over Europe, from Poland to Peckham.

Among the unique line-up is 55 year-old German designer, Angelika Plag, who was shopping in a TK Maxx store in Berlin when she was approached about starring in the campaign. Formerly a school teacher, Angelika now lives for all things creative, matching her passion for design with creating her own individual look, which she describes as "elegant, unexpected and fresh".

Angelika said,"the whole idea of Me.By Me is about promoting individual style and celebrating what makes us unique, so it’s something that really resonates with me as a stylish woman in my 50s.

"There’s always something to learn about fashion and yourself. The older you get, the more you know and understand what fits you and what doesn’t. It’s a learning process.

"For me I feel my most stylish when I'm dancing the tango. I also think that my style says to people that I’m complex, different, interesting and stylistically confident."

Thinking about her top style tips, Angelika said: "Be yourself and don’t think too much about new trends that won’t suit you. Play with style and try to wear things in a different way. For me, design and value are the most important things in the clothes I buy".
