Review: Sole Bliss Ayda heels for bunions or wide feet
Ayda Navy Suede, £159 at www.solebliss.com.jpg

Having bunions or wide feet can often make you feel like there aren't many options when it comes to elegant shoes. But that's where Sole Bliss comes in. The company makes a huge range of boots, sling-backs and other smart shoes (as well as matching bags) that are specially designed to be not only comfy, but also to cleverly disguise bunions without looking medical.

I tried the navy blue Ayda heels, which arrived prettily packaged in pink tissue paper and are made of a buttery-soft suede. My first thought was that they looked completely normal, not like shoes designed for problem feet. The only difference was that they were extremely comfortable, and the sides came up high enough to disguise and gently support my bunion. They're available in a range of classic colours, and also come in half sizes.

They are obviously high quality, and while they aren't cheap at £159, they would be worth the investment for a special occasion, such as a wedding, where you felt self-conscious or were worried about being comfortable on your feet. I'm definitely considering them for my daughter's wedding as I'd have no worries about dancing the night away!
