Purple smoothie bowl

  1. Put all of the smoothie base ingredients into a blender with 300ml of the milk and blitz until you have a smooth, thick consistency, adding more milk if needed; the smoothie should be thick enough to eat with a spoon.
  2. Pour into two bowls and sprinkle with toppings of your choice, and a drizzle of honey. Eat straight away while still icy cold.

It's best to use frozen fruit for a thick consistency, but you can add a few ice cubes if your fruit isn't frozen. Omit the yoghurt for a dairy-free version

100g frozen, sliced banana (about 1 large banana)
2 heaped tbsp porridge oats
300ml - 350ml almond milk, oat milk or cow's milk
2 tbsp Rowse Clear Honey
4 tbsp plain yoghurt (optional)
2 tbsp almond butter (optional)
