Mulled winter cup


  1. Add all the ingredients, apart from the garnish, into a pan. Give it a stir and bring to the boil.
  2. Turn down to a low simmer and allow to bubble gently for 20 mins. Leave to cool for five mintues so it's not too hot when you serve it up.
  3. Ladle into a latte glass and add a grapefruit zest garnish to serve.

70cl bottle Heston from Waitrose Fruit Cup or sloe gin
For the mulled cider:
1.5 litres dry cider
150g golden caster sugar
2 snapped cinnamon sticks
1 star anise
1 tsp allspice
1 orange zested
50g fresh ginger, sliced
10 full stems and leaves of fresh coriander
To garnish:
Peeled zest of 1 grapefruit
