Mini beef and lamb sliders


  1. In three large bowls separately mix all the burger ingredients together.
  2. Using slightly damp hands, shape the mixture into small 5cm (2in) burgers. Cover and chill for 20 minutes.
  3. Cook the burgers on a prepared barbecue for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked and the juices run clear
  4. Serve in buns or rolls of your choice with salad garnish and relishes

Herby Beefburgers with Mango Chutney:
450g (alb) beef mince
3 spring onions, finely chopped
3 tbsp freshly chopped flat-leaf parsley
Salt and pepper
3-4 tbsp mango chutney

Spicy Lamb and Feta Burgers:
450g (1lb) lamb mince
1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
1/4 tsp ground paprika
1 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp cumin powder
3-4 tbsp freshly chopped flat-leaf parsley or coriander
Zest of 1 lemon
125g (4oz) feta cheese, roughly crumbled
Salt and Pepper


Time: 40 minutes, plus chilling and cooking
